Personal Account functionality
This section describes the functionality of Personal Account.
Registration in the Loyalty Program | A customer can register in the Loyalty Program by going through several steps. In a standard version of the Personal Account, registration begins by phone number and includes:
Upon completion of registration, an LP Member gets access to their Personal Account. |
Authorization in the Personal Account | With the help of a special form, an LP Member can log in to the Personal Account using a unique login and password. |
Editing an application form | Editing of personal data is available to an LP Member authorized in the Personal Account. On the part of the System, a limitation on editing individual fields can be configured (for example, editing the birth date no more than once a year). Configuring the Application Form Designer is carried out in the Retail Engine Platform. |
Editing contacts | An LP Member has the ability to change the phone number and email address. Data change can take place only after entering the verification code sent to the specified phone number or email. |
Password recovery/change | In case of losing the password from the Personal Account or if it is necessary to change the password, an LP Member can set a new password. To do this, you must enter the phone number or email address corresponding to the account, fill in the received verification code, and set a new password. |
Subscription management | Settings of the Personal Account include communication channels through which LP Members can receive notifications from the System about the Loyalty Program (as a rule, these are promotional mailings and other informational messages). LP Members can choose communication channels to receive such messages. |
Viewing the current balance of LP Member | Information about the number of bonus points available for deduction and bonus points spent on purchases is displayed in the Personal Account. In addition, the extended functionality allows displaying bonus points with their lifetime (activated bonus points, bonus points awaiting activation, bonus points to be expired), as well as the amount of purchases using the card. |
Viewing a card barcode | In the My Cards section of the Personal Account, next to the image and number of the bonus card, its barcode can also be displayed. It can be shown to the cashier during the purchase. The expanded functionality also includes the ability to display the card's QR code. |
Viewing a purchase history | In the Purchase history section, LP Members have access to a list of their transactions for the entire period of participation in the Loyalty Program. The data is displayed in the form of a table, where each row contains the date of a purchase/event, a card number, name and address of the point of sale, number of accrued/deducted bonus points, and the amount of direct discount. The extended functionality allows viewing details of each entry in the table, including a list of all receipt line items, their value, and the receipt total. Using filters, LP Members can filter the purchase history by dates and by cards. |
Card replacement | In case of loss or damage of the physical card, LP Members can replace it with a new one. The card to be replaced must be previously blocked. Damaged loyalty card can only be replaced with a new card with a new unique number while maintaining the balance, operation history, personal data, etc. To confirm the replacement operation, LP Members need to enter the password from their Personal Account. |
Card blocking/unblocking | LP members can independently block their card, for example, if it is lost. After blocking, any card operations become impossible. For example, when making a purchase using a blocked card, benefits will not be provided, and manual operations for accrual/deduction of bonus points cannot be performed with a blocked card. A blocked card can be unblocked by an LP Member in the same way. To confirm the operation of blocking/unblocking the card, a Member need to enter the password from their Personal Account. |
Viewing points of sale on the map | In a special section of the Personal Account, all points of sale within the current Loyalty Program are displayed, where LP Members can use their loyalty card. Objects are located on the map in the form of geo-points. In the section header, a filter is available to search for the required region/city. Read here how to customize the display of the point of sale description and its working hours in the Personal Account using Retail Engine Platform. |
Support service (contacts) | In a standard Personal Account, the contact information of the support service is available: the hotline phone number and the technical support service email address. |
Sending an email to support service | To send an email message to the support service, it is possible to display a form with a text field for entering a message and a Send button. A letter template is created automatically, the Customer enters a message and sends a letter to the specified address through the mail client installed on the device. |
Linking/unlinking social networks | In the settings of the Personal Account, it is possible to connect profiles of popular social networks to the account. Linked social networks can be used for further authorization in the Personal Account and/or participation of an LP Member in marketing campaigns aimed at social networks. If necessary, LP Members can unlink social networks from their profile in the Personal Account. |
Authorization via social networks | If LP Members have linked profiles of their social networks, then upon authorization LP Members are able to log in to the Personal Account using the credentials of one of the linked social networks. |
Using a virtual card | As part of the Loyalty Program implementation, the System can use only physical or only virtual cards, or both at the same time. Read more about configuring card issuance here. Creating and linking virtual cards in the Personal Account is carried out upon completion of registration of an LP Member in the system. Virtual and physical cards are displayed in the customer's Personal Account, with balance details, bar code, QR code. If there are virtual cards in the system, the Personal Account can be used to link a physical card to the account. |
Inviting a friend to the Loyalty Program | As part of the implementation of the referral system of the Loyalty Program, Personal Account allows entering the card number of the LP Member who invited to the Loyalty Program. The field for entering the friend's card number is displayed on the registration page as optional. In the case of adding a link between the referrer and the referral, the System will trigger offers set up in the system for the events Invite a Friend and Purchase by a Friend. |
Merging accounts | Personal Account with extended functionality allows linking additional cards belonging to other LP Members (activated cards) to the account. After merging the accounts, the cards have a common purchase history and total balance, cardholders save/spend bonus points from one account. To do this, one of the LP Members must initiate attaching an additional card in the Personal Account in the My cards section and enter the number of the bonus card (physical or virtual) belonging to another Member. The linked card must not be linked to another group of cards. To confirm account merging, a confirmation code is sent to the phone number of the owner of the linked card, which must be entered to complete the card merging. |
Viewing offers configured in Retail Engine Platform | In the Personal Account, there is an option to configure automatic display of promotional content that was set up in Retail Engine Platform. Information about offers can be displayed both to all customers and to certain target audiences. Setting up content and display conditions is done in the Promotional content section of Retail Engine Platform. The promotional content, as a rule, includes title, text description, image, benefits (type and size). Using settings, you can adjust the time of publication of promotional content: display a few days before the start of the offer, hide irrelevant offers. |
LP Member status in the tiered benefits system | If there are status mechanics in the Loyalty Program (benefits size depends on the level of savings on the card account), display of the current status of an LP Member can be configured in the Personal Account, as well as the display of the amount required to reach the next level. The status system can be configured using special plugins. |
Viewing favorite products | LP Members can select products for which an LP Member can receive higher benefits. The list of products for selection is limited by the product quantity and offer duration. The offer details and conditions are formed in Retail Engine Platform. Read here how to configure the display of offer with personal products in the Personal Account using Retail Engine Platform. |
Support service via chat | Personal account may include the Support service section in the form of a chat with the option to upload images. The chat form is integrated with the Call Center. The history of correspondence with each customer is stored in the System and is available for viewing in the form of a list of customer questions and operators' answers. |
Adding bonus cards to digital wallets | When connecting a special plugin, it is possible to add bonus cards to Apple Wallet and Google Pay in your Personal Account. LP Members click a special button, after which Member's bonus card is loaded into a digital wallet. |
Refusal to participate in the Loyalty Program | LP Members can refuse to participate in the Loyalty Program via the Personal Account. To do this, a Member needs to fill out a special form, which indicates the reason for refusal. To confirm the action, the Member enters a confirmation code, which is sent to the Member via SMS to the phone number associated with the profile. In case of refusal to participate in the Loyalty Program, all personal data of the Member (including data on the status of the bonus account) are deleted from the system. To re-enter Loyalty Program, the re-registration is required. |
