4 **Campaign **is a communication chain that describes the rules of interaction between the Smart Communications module and [[customer profiles>>doc:Main.Using.Smart_Communications.Customers.All_clients.WebHome||anchor="Profile"]]. A campaign consists of one [[trigger>>doc:.Triggers.WebHome]] and one or more [[actions>>doc:.Actions.WebHome]]. Campaigns can be linear or non-linear, i.e. contain branches.
