Coalition loyalty programs

Partners (Companies) from different business areas can join together in one Loyalty Program (LP), a coalition program, thus increasing the customer base and simplifying customer management.

Loymax System Loyalty Programs can be regular and coalition programs.

Home LP is a loyalty program valid only for one Company.
Coalition LP is a loyalty program created by combining several Companies. Conditions of the coalition program are common for all Companies. For example, offers, bonus points, coupons, etc., will be valid at all point of sales of the Companies participating in the coalition (Companies 1-3 in the diagram below).

Several legal entities created within one Company can also be called a coalition by default. After all, a single Loyalty Program will be valid for all legal entities of the Company.

Within the framework of the coalition Loyalty Program (LP), it is possible to create offers that will operate in all points of sale and provide the same preferences to the LP Members. The creation of such offers is possible only by the Company LP administrator and requires the creation of General product catalog. For more information about creating an offer with a general product catalog, see the article.

Companies who are members of the coalition LP can create their own offers that operate only within the framework of this Company and its points of sale. The LP Member chooses which Loyalty Program preferences he wants to use. For example, if a LP Member is a member of a coalition and makes a purchase in a point of sale where the Coalition Company has special conditions of bonus deduction/accrual, application of direct discount, etc., the Member can choose whether to use the coalition LP preference or the Company's preference.

Within the framework of the coalition Loyalty program, a mutual settlement system is provided — bonus points clearing. This system assumes that a LP Member can receive bonus points at the points of sale of one Company and deduct them at the points of sale of another Company. Bonus points are recorded for each card of the LP Member. First of all, home bonus points, i.e. accrued by this Company, are deducted at a Company point of sale. When the accumulated bonus points are not enough to be deducted, bonus points accrued by other coalition Companies are deducted proportionally. Clearing is carried out by the coalition Companies by mutual agreement.

For example:

The customer is a Member of a coalition LP in which three Companies participate. There are 200 bonus points accrued by Company 1, 60 bonus points accrued by Company 2, and 30 bonus points accrued by Company 3 on the bonus account of the LP Member.

At the point of sale of the Company 1 LP Member wants to deduct 260 bonuses. At the same time, all bonus points accrued by Company 1 will be deducted, and the remaining 60 will be deducted from the bonus points accrued by Companies 2 and 3 in proportion to the savings of the LP Member. In total, 200, 40 and 20 bonus points will be deducted to pay for the purchase.

Companies 2 and 3 must transfer to Company 1 — 40 and 20 euros, respectively, to conduct bonus points clearing.
